NASCAR: Your Racing Trends And Techniques

Nascar, as any other sport evolves almost every day, the techniques that were a trend 2 years ago might be obsolete by now, tires, motors and even driving change, sometimes is not for the best but at least is good to try. But changes not apply just to techniques; also happen in trends, pilot and teams.

This year, in the season that begun in March the most popular trends are Dale Earnhardt Jr. racing for Bristol, how this is working by now and the results at the end of the season will say if this was the best move for him and the team, so far his performance can be qualified as regular with just one win in the whole season.

Another trend that we have to follow is the reorganization of Penke Racing team that results in The Dodge and Penske fusion, having Roger Penske as the head of this new racing team. So far with just one win in the hands of Kurt Busch seems like they have still hard job ahead.

Another thing to follow is the new points system, will it be more fair and easy to follow or soon enough we will have another system? In this one, it seems that is working fine and there are not so much bad comments around this issue but as always, you can’t have everyone happy.

When it comes to driving techniques those doesn’t change that much they just adapt some things according the motors development, the tires that changes also all year and the aerodynamics packages approved per year, but at the end the driving keeps following the same and most basic premise, to win as many races as you can and to avoid all accidents, bring the car safe and with a trophy for you and the team.
